Cookie notice

Ovelunor sets no advertising cookie, and no cookies at all today. You can confirm that yourself. Open your browser’s developer tools, find the storage or application panel, and look under cookies. There is nothing there from this site.

This notice is separate from the privacy notice, because Google’s AdSense terms name the two as separate things.

The one thing the site stores

The site remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. Your browser holds that preference on your own device, and it never reaches a server. Clearing your browsing data removes it, and so does a private window.

What advertising cookies would do

Ovelunor intends to carry advertising from Google AdSense. While advertising is off, the site sets no advertising cookie.

Once advertising is enabled, Google would set cookies in your browser. Those cookies would let Google choose which advertisements you see and measure how they perform. They would also record that your browser has already been shown a given advertisement.

Your choice comes first

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we ask for your consent before any advertising cookie is set. A Google-certified consent management platform presents that prompt. You can refuse, and you can reopen the prompt later to change your choice.

Controlling cookies yourself

Every major browser lets you clear the cookies it already holds and block new ones. Look for cookies under privacy or site settings in your browser’s own settings. Your browser’s help pages explain the steps for the version you run.
